10 years building anything with light: An anniversary event bringing together friends, collaborators, and lighting visionaries.










In May, Protopixel celebrated its 10th anniversary, a milestone that also marked the launch of the company’s new branding. For it we developed a visual system that harmoniously connected both milestones, celebrating a decade of innovation while introducing a renewed identity for the brand. The structure of the event was a series of dynamic talks and debates centered around building strong teams and lasting projects, and it progressed all through the day and into the night, where the closest friends where invited to some drinks and party.

The strategy

Celebrate the milestone through people, not the company. Rather than making the 10-year anniversary about Protopixel itself, the message shifts focus to:

1. collaborators
2. team members    
3. creative and tech partners

The effect: humanizes the brand and strengthens emotional resonance.
It wants to focus on familiarity and community. The event offers an intimate window into how Protopixel evolved over ten years.
















The Timeline


A visual and narrative series of posters that showcases the most significant milestones from Protopixel’s first decade. It brings together iconic projects, product launches, collaborations, and moments that shaped the company’s culture.

The timeline was unveiled during the 10-year anniversary celebration as a surprise for the team and shared publicly to extend the impact beyond the event.


















The visual identity

One of the main challenges was to strike a balance between the celebratory tone of the anniversary and the refined direction of the new branding, which needed to convey modernity and cohesion while remaining true to Protopixel’s essence.

Another consideration was to ensure that the event’s visual narrative and the rebranding announcement felt harmoniously integrated, both conceptually and aesthetically.
